Starting a Life Insurance Career at 21: Learning, Growing, and Succeeding Together
In 2018, at 21, I decided to become a life insurance agent. While my friends were focused on college and early jobs, I wanted a career that offered independence and a challenge. My husband, who became a life insurance agent at 18, encouraged me to pursue the same path. Seeing his success at such a young age inspired me, and his support from the start made all the difference.
I got my license, joined, and began learning the ropes. The first few months were tough—I had to understand complex topics and build trust with clients. But over time, I got better at explaining insurance and listening to people's needs. It wasn’t just about selling—it was about offering peace of mind.
As I grew in the industry, my husband continued to be my biggest supporter, and together, we celebrated every milestone. By 25, I had built a strong foundation, and this career became more than just a job—it became our passion. Becoming a life insurance agent at 21 was one of the best decisions I made, and the journey has been both rewarding and fulfilling.
